I'm so glad it wasn't worse and that you were able to deal with it at home.
Kudos to your wife for stepping in to help and to you for keeping your cool in front of the kids, definitely not an easy thing to do in a situation like that.

        I showed the wound to my children, not to gross them out, but to demonstrate that even big "ouchies" do not require a big fuss. This was a big ouchie. It was nice that my wife helped me out. !BBH
