Can't believe someone decided to mash over ripe bananas into quick-bread batter instead of throwing them away. The moisture from the bananas makes it soft, sweet, and rich without needing anything extra.

Did you know February 23 is national banana bread day? I didn't know too until I read it somewhere yesterday. This day is celebrated by baking, sharing and reinventing this beautiful cake-like bread.
I haven't done any painting this year so I'm sharing my first. This was really fun to paint, still surprised I could pull it off as this isn't something I've done before.
