In this 459th edition, I am celebrating an awesome and obscure brewery!

This week's Pint of the Week may not be from Willibald but is nicely served in one of their glasses. It is actually the Road House Helles Lager from Wishbone Brewing Company enjoyed at my new favourite bottle shop End Times Bar and Beer Shop who hasn't got his web shit together quite yet. Still awesome beer you don't get everywhere curated by someone who really knows regional craft beer.

Willibald!

I have been to Willibald a few times over the last few years and keep going back. It is a neat distillery, restaurant AND brewery in the smallest town you have never heard of. Plus, they have a great IPA game.

You can see how creative they get with OG Krush Terps Double IPA which is so exclusive, they don't even list it on their website. It has a dank taste with the terpenes and strong Krush hops that totally pack enough flavour in to balance out the heavy 7.9% ABV. Delicious!

Farmdust

Another half pint picture to prove that I share too! Farmdust has the same thick haze but a lighter and brighter yellow. Plenty bright in the carbonation department too and fresh as we picked it right from the shelf at the brewery.

Farmdust has some of the hops and haze of an IPA but is much lighter at only 4.9% ABV. Not as bold as some of their other wild IPAs and definitely a delicious pale ale with Simcoe, Loral and Southern Cross hops that make for plenty of taste. Might be one of my summer beers which I hunt out for lower alcohol for active adventure but still plenty of taste.
