At the beginning of the year, I was very optimistic when I set my goals for 2024 and I was even more optimistic when I reached my HBD goal very early in the year. Now, 28 days before the end of 2024 I'm very far from reaching my hive power goal. To be more precise I'm exactly 3'172 Hive Power away from my target and there are only 28 days to reach it. The target for Hive Power that I set for 2024 is 72'000. Today, I have exactly 68'828.
This means that I need to power up roughly 117 Hive every day until the end of the year. Well, I need some crazy challenges from time to time and I simply want to try to reach it. It will be my very personal challenge...
A 1000 Hive power up to get started
In order not to be too far away from my goal, I powered up the majority of liquid hive that I had on my account. This gave me a welcome 1000 power up today.
The rules
On the 31st of december 2024, on my main account there should be 15'000 HBD and 72'000 Hive Power in order to complete the challenge. I'm not allowed to power down any of my other accounts but I'm allowed to take the liquid earnings from there. I'm also allowed to touch all the other assets that are not HBD and Hive Power and use them to reach my goals. Of course, I'm allowed to create content and curate with my hive power.
The benchmark
To keep an eye on my progress, I create a benchmark which indicates the level I need to reach each day. It's basically 117 Hive Power more every day.
