Dining under the stars by the pool side

in #dining10 hours ago

Me and hubby are both foodies and we like to experience new places and different cuisines. This was while we were in Mumbai on one of the evenings. It was an occasion to celebrate so we decided to pick up a fine dining restaurant. Normally I eat non-vegetarian food but on Tuesday's I eat only veg food and this was a Tuesday. I had to make sure the place we select was good for vegetarian food as well. Non-veg food I knew they are famous for, but veg I had not heard. I checked their menu on one of their promotional sites and found it interesting and healthy food options as well. The name of this restaurant is 24, it is in one of the resorts and this place is open 24x7 hence the name 24.

When I stepped into the restaurant I was in awe of the interiors, it so beautifully designed and they have an indoor and outdoor seating. While the interiors were fab, I was more drawn towards the pool side outdoor seating, which looked equally magnificent. After seeing the place, I had a feeling that the food was going to be super. It did give good vibes, anyways I thought in my mind even if the food is not great, I am happy with the ambiance. Pricing wise, they were decent. Even though being a fine dining their prices were not sky rocketing.

We settled down on a table near the pool side and ordered some food and drinks. Everything that was served was delicious. I ordered couple of dishes and the one I liked the most is the Water chestnut dim sum. I have never had it before nor even heard it, tried it out and it was super delicious.

Truly and amazing experience it was dining at this place and with all that they offered it did not even feel very heavy on the pocket.

I was inspired by what you’re doing, eating only vegetables every Tuesday. I like the idea of intentionally setting aside one day a week to go meat-free and focus purely on vegetables.

By the way, when a restaurant offers both great food and a cozy ambiance, it’s almost guaranteed to have a high customer retention rate.

Water chestnut dim sum is a very unusual thing for me to see in real life and the poolside setup looks like it was worth the trip even if the food had not delivered
