It’s been a while since I have done my last beer Saturday post so I figured I’d share a few with of the beers that I’ve had recently. It’s been a pretty wild few weeks for me. I’m dealing with another kidney stone so I stopped drinking for a little bit, but I’m feeling better so I figured it was time to have a few beers this week. I was lucky enough to have a buddy of mine who did a road trip to the East Coast. He ended l picked up some of the best beers in the country for me.
If you haven’t had a chance to explore the East Coast, I highly suggest it there is there some of the best local breweries in the country.
The first beer is called Double Citra. This is double IPA bittered, flavored, and dry-hopped exclusively with Citra hops.
The second beer is called Focal Banger which is an American IPA with Citra & Mosaic hops. If you can’t see there’s a theme to this week. It was IPAs. It’s been really hot where we are at, so I don’t want anything too heavy and after all these were free so I’m not complaining too much.
The third beer is actually alcohol free beer, which I have not had too many of these in my day. I will tell you I’m not a huge fan considering I’m drinking the calories without all the fun. It is promoted as the ultimate session-able IPA. Brewed with a blend of Northwest hops with Citra and Mosaic at the forefront. It has a body of premium organic malts from US & Germany. There is a subtle yet complex malt profile.
It really was not that bad. It’s just not as much fun.
