They finally did it. They said something. On the issue I have been watching for weeks - the excessive increase in daylight in the region. You will say - right now is the time for this, in the summer. But it's not that. Yes, it's summer, yes, the days are getting longer, but not like this year. I know it because I've lived here and also in the west where it's like it is here right now. But it was always like that there, and here it was always different.
Is there any cause for concern? I think there is because it feels a bit like Melancholia, the Lars von Trier movie. It's not that you can see any planet nearby, it's probably just the opposite. Because it is written that our days are getting longer because the moon moves away from the planet every year by a few centimeters.
Well, that's nonsense of course. I mean, the explanation for the longer days. Because this is happening this year, and the moon has moved away every year, it's not just this one.
And yet, someone said something, albeit nonsense, brought attention to this problem. Maybe just to wash his hands. We'll see what happens in the coming months. Or not?
