Yongi and I are having a cool and quiet Sunday mid-morning down here in DD. Feeling a bit low on energy, we skipped joining the hubby on his drive out of town. Besides, we were there last weekend and on Thursday, so next week please.
Anyhow, we had brunch then at the corner resto, where we sighted and captured some nice displays on its shiny tables and floors. I lost count of how many times we have been there since they opened last year, but we kind of like it for its welcoming ambiance, spaciousness, and well, the food too.
The hubby was hungry, so he got himself a plate of sizzling pork sisig.
It's got to be his favorite food on the planet, lol! And mine? It's something light and basic, since I wasn't that famished. Clubhouse sandwich with fried sweet potatoes.
As usual, the hubby helped me, as I couldn't eat them all. Two for him and two for me. The LilGuy had a few of the sweet potato slices, ham, and bacon (from the sandwich, he refused the lettuce for the first time).
And because it was a hot day, we got ourselves a cold delight, halo-halo as we call it in the country. A perfect dessert to cool the throat after filling the tummy with food.

Meanwhile, our little boy is behaving well, quietly observing while in his own chair. No growling or barking, not even a whimper. While there were other people in the resto, thank goodness nobody triggered his devil, lol!

Well, there was another puppy across from us who barked at the server, but our Yongi just looked around and slumped back in his seat. Good boy, eh? Normally, he would also make his presence known.
Anyway, we left the food place with our taste buds and tummies satisfied. And yep, there will be a next time!
