A few days before, I had written about a lady farmer who grows dragon fruit on the terrace above her house. She had limited space, but that did not stop her from following her passion for farming. She took advice from the local agriculture experts and started growing fruit trees in small grow bags. Her success stories have inspired many people and have been shown on television.

Suppose you are interested in growing fruit trees but do not have the land for it; there are many options that you can follow.
For example, land can be leased and used to plant saplings of your choice. Even if you do not have spare time or effort, you can employ people you know to work for you. Plants that are usually planted during the lease are ginger, turmeric, bananas, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, and fruits. or even flowers. It might involve a lot of interaction at first, but once you get the hang of it and have the passion for it, it will be a very rewarding job. When one has a passion for farming, it will not seem to be heavy work at all.
Another option is to pool money with friends and family and purchase land suitable for agriculture. This way, you can be more at leisure and not have to answer the landowner regarding lease or rent etc, The only thing you have to worry about is to agree on the crop to be planted and the management. Even if it seems like a hassle, the result will be worth it.
Some people also do fish farming by setting up small pools within their backyard and growing fish in them. Care has to be taken to cover the ponds to prevent predators and thieves. Fish farming is very profitable and once it clicks, the profit is huge as per reports.

Flower farming is a good idea, but one has to make sure that it has daily surveillance because flowers fade easily and the harvest has to reach the customer before it wilts.
Farming does have many challenges, but nothing will stop a passionate farmer like the lady mentioned above.
Have you planted any saplings? Please do share your story.
