After experiencing the trolley tour of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, quite an appetite was worked up. And the perfect place is directly across the street from where the trolley ride ends. Molly Maguire's is all that and more from what you would expect at an Irish Pub. With it being a gorgeous day outside, the ice cold beer on tap was the perfect thirst quencher.
When it came time for my meal, I ordered the Roast Turkey with mashed potatoes and stuffing with cranberry sauce. It was Thanksgiving in the summer! The mashed potatoes was the perfect consistency as they weren't too creamy. I usually don't put gravy on my mashed or turkey but I am glad I did. I loved the seasoning in their gravy.
You can never go wrong with serving me stuffing because I love all kinds. Their stuffing kind of reminded me of my mom's, which is never a bad thing. The cranberry sauce had the texture of the homemade kind. I love it when you can tell the ingredients are fresh. I definitely left the place stuffed, which is a good thing that I had a long walk to my car at the far end of the train station.
