Walking into The Lacey Diner is like visiting family each time. They make all of their customers feel special, at least that is what I have observed each time I went there. A prime example was when my better half wanted this Brie sandwich (the Triple B) that was no longer on the menu because it was a special when Lori had it last. Needless to say, Lori ended up getting that sandwich even though she would have probably gone for something else on the menu if she had to.

I ordered the Weekday Lunch Special of 1/2 sandwich and a bowl of soup. The Chicken Orzo Soup came out piping hot, just the way I like it. It was seasoned to perfection so much that it reminded me of mom. My sandwich choice was the Egg Salad and this was no ordinary egg salad. I was tempted to ask what ingredients they used but I am sure this is their secret. It tasted like a deviled egg salad, which elevated the dish to another level.

I have had plenty of customer service training at several of my jobs and the staff at The Lacey Diner appear to check off all of the boxes. Using the "I Love Lucy" theme as their logo was also quite creative. If you are near the Forked River section of New Jersey and you haven't visited here yet, you don't know what you're missing!
