Good Morning,
Short week for us, as yesterday was Thanksgiving in Canada. Next week will be short week again, but only for school kids, darn it 😁
For today's recipe share. I made caramel milk rolls, using homemade caramel milk (dulce de leche). I used crockpot to make the caramel milk, you can use store-bought if it's available, otherwise please watch the vlog should you like to make it yourself 😊
1 can homemade dulce de leche
1 c lukewarm water
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp quick rise yeast
5 tbsp peanut oil
5 tbsp mayo (1/2 fat)
2 c flour
2 c flour (additional)
Golden raisins
Allspice powder
Into breadmaker, pour water, sugar, and yeast, then add in the first 2 c of flour, peanut oil, and mayonnaise. Click dough cycle.
2 minutes in, add in the rest 2 c of flour, let the breadmaker continue making the dough
Once dough is done, roll flat then spread dulce de leche
Sprinkle top with allspice powder and golden raisins, roll as you would cinnamon rolls
Slice and place rolls on pan and let rest for 20 minutes (until doubled in size)
Bake rolls on preheated 350 F for 20-25 mins
Enjoy!
