in #foodie3 days ago

Hey fellow foodies and pinoy fam

So, we recently hit up Crabs n Crack a seafood kamayan style pinoy food place in Clark, Pampanga, and oh my goodness, it was a a new and different experience for me. The flavors are rich and savory and I can’t stop raving about my first time to dine kamayan style. This place is a seafood lover’s paradise, and the kamayan experience—eating with your hands, Filipino style took it to a whole new level of fun.

First off, check out that main dish the plate was loaded with juicy crabs, plump mussels, and those other kind of clams they call sulib, all swimming in our chosen rich, spicy, garlicky sauce that had me licking my fingers. The yellow color is salted egg which gave it that rich creamy salty goodness that I love. The corn on the cob added that sweet crunch, soaking up all that seafood flavor.

The vibe was super casual, with everyone digging in, gloves on, and loving every bite. The wooden tables are covered with cling wraps the size of which is humongous. The space looks clean and tidy with minimal decors who needs flamboyant designs when the food is the highlight right? The soup on the side was a perfect palate cleanser—light, savory, with a hint of spice.

They do not have those crab crackers and the bibs to protect your beautiful clothes from the accidental splashing of juices and sauce but there was this wild moment with a black rock on the table yeah you hit the crab with that stone you get the idea. I am not a fan but it is not bad just my personal preference.

Not everyone in the group eats seafood so we ordered this tender, saucy ribs and potato wedge on the side. The ribs good and the potato wedge despite it being fried or baked is surprisingly cold inside seems like it was fresh from the fridge not a fan of that.

The resto itself has this cool, laid-back vibe, as you can see from the storefront pic, and the staff were super chill. Located in Clark, it’s a must-visit if you’re in the area. I’m already planning my next trip—gotta try more of their menu What’s your favorite seafood spot? Drop it below, and let’s swap foodie tales
