Spring is finally here in Northern BC Canada (I think, anyway) and it's time for a garden update! Almost every afternoon for the past 3 years, I've taken a photograph of my back yard from my deck. From the same spot, at the same angle, using the same settings. So I've got hundreds of pictures, documenting my progress since moving here in November 2022, such as this one from last July:
That's how my garden looked just after my last update in June 2025.
I had some major successes last year (lettuce, peas, carrots, beans, garlic) and some dismal failures (tomatoes, peppers). The blank spots are where I had planned to have huge tomato plants growing.
This year, I'm going to have a greenhouse. It's on the way to me right now, and I'll be setting it up this coming week. Quite excited to start my growing year a few weeks early, which will make all the difference for crops like tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers.
Timelapse
Here's a timelapse, composed of about 200 images, covering April 2025 to April 2026:

That should get you up to speed on my gardening progress over the past year or so, despite lack of updates here on the blockchain. I just kind of lost interest in the concept of grinding out rewards for my content, but I haven't stopped growing food.
I made it loop without any pause, so it plays like a neverending cycle of seasons.
If I shrink the size down a bit more, I can fit 3 years (more than 500 different daily photographs!) into a single 20 second clip:

That's April 2023 through April 2026.
Really looking forward to the coming year, and sharing some of my adventures here with you.
Grow in peace.
