Today my garden begins to bloom with the first yellow cucumber flowers appearing. There will be a good harvest of cucumbers which is good for salads especially in the hot summer weather with lettuce and tomato slices all drizzled with a little olive oil and salt. Now is the time to water well as temperatures are rising and once they have grown, see when they are a good harvest size.
