Himalayan orange raspberry, also known as Aiselu in Nepali language is one of the most consumed wild fruits in Nepal.

It grows naturally across the forests and slopes of Nepal especially during the spring season.

For many Nepalese people, it is not just the fruit, it is the icon of climbing hill sides, wandering through the forests and friendship.

Apart from taste, it is also rich in antioxidants, vitamin C and natural fibres making is a good nutritional source.

It is also consumed by birds and wildlives, thus maintaining a good ecosystem in hilly Nepal.
