Hace poco , vi un post de @eugelys en el cual, nos mostraba como hacer champiñones con papa y zanahoria. Les dejo el post por aquí si quieren verlo. Cuestión, que no soy fan de cocinar pero esta receta me llamo tanto la atención que decidí hacerla y compartir con ustedes el resultado final de estos falsos hongos.
Recently, I saw a post by @eugelys in which she showed us how to make mushrooms with potatoes and carrots. I'll leave the post here if you want to see it. The thing is, I'm not a fan of cooking but this recipe caught my attention so much that I decided to make it and share with you the final result of these fake mushrooms.

Well, the procedure is simple but long. First boil the potatoes and carrots until they are soft. Once cooked, strain the water, let it cool, and using a masher, I made a puree. I seasoned it with salt and well, on to the next step hehehe.
Bueno, el procedimiento es sencillo pero largo . Primero se hierve las papas y las zanahorias hasta que estén blandas. Una vez cocidas, cole el agua, deje enfriar y ayudándome de un pisa papa, hice un puré. Lo condimenté con sal y bueno, a lo que sigue je,je,je.

After making that purée, I proceeded to mix the dough with the cornstarch until it forms something that doesn't stick. Up to this point, the recipe looked similar to the one I saw from @eugelys. Everything seemed to be going relatively well until everything started to go relatively wrong and something didn't add up haha.
Luego de hacer ese puré, procedí a unir la masa con la maicena hasta que quede algo que no se pegue. Hasta acá, la receta quedo parecida a la que vi de @eugelys . Todo parecía ir relativamente bien hasta que todo empezó a ir relativamente mal y algo no cuadraba ja,ja,ja.
Issue, I started forming little balls with the dough, flatten the balls and with the tip of a bottle, I started giving them that little mushroom shape. I followed the instructions closely and was happy because they turned out somewhat similar.
Cuestión, comencé a formar bolitas con la masa , achate las bolitas y con el pico de una botella, comencé a darles esa formita de honguito. Yo bien portada siguiendo al pie las instrucciones y feliz porque quedaron medianamente parecidos.

I boiled the fake little mushrooms as if they were pasta, then browned them in oil to fry them, but UH-OH! They lost their shape and I got sad because now they looked more like flying saucers than mushrooms.
As you can see in the pictures, they flattened out, I really don't know what happened haha.
Herví ya los honguitos falsos como si fueran pastas para posteriormente dorarlos en aceites fritándolos pero ¡UH-OH! Perdieron su forma y me quede triste ya que ahora parecían mas que hongos platillos voladores.
Como pueden ver en la fotos, se achataron realmente no se que paso ja,ja,ja.

Here is the result of the UFOs made of vegetables. I served them decorated with wild parsley and seasoned them with soy sauce. They turned out tasty, to be honest, and I accompanied them with fried cassava and a homemade burger but truth be told, they didn't turn out as pretty and don't look like mushrooms so let's just say that yes, they are vegetable flying dishes, hahaha.

Aquí el resultado de los OVNIS hechos de hortalizas. Los serví decorando con perejil a lo salvaje y le condimenté con salsa de soja. Quedaron sabroso la verdad y acompañe con mandioca frita y una hamburguesa casera pero la verdad, no quedaron tan bellos y no parecen hongos así que digamos que si, son platillos voladores de hortalizas ja,ja,ja.
