Traditional dish "Karhi Pakora"

Today I tried making a very traditional and popular dish called Karhi Pakora. It is a much loved dish made with yogurt and its recipe is quite easy.
First take sour yogurt and make buttermilk by mixing it well with water. Then add gram flour (besan) to the buttermilk and mix until smooth making sure there are no lumps.
On the side heat oil in a pot and fry finely chopped onions. Add crushed garlic tomatoes salt red chili powder turmeric and dried coriander. Cook everything well to make a flavorful masala.
Now slowly add the yogurt and gram flour mixture to the pot. Keep stirring continuously to prevent lumps. Stir until the mixture comes to a boil. Once it starts boiling lower the heat and let it cook on low flame for about 15 to 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
For the tempering heat some oil in a small pan and add garlic and white cumin seeds. Pour this hot tempering over the karhi.
Finally prepare pakoras fritters separately and add them to the karhi. Mix gently and let them soak for a few minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy this delicious traditional dish
