There is no doubt that this is a traditional dish of our region.History says that this pola was first served in Bengal during the early Muslim rule and meat was added to it.This food is the best in Bengal till now.When relatives come to the house for any big event or visit, pulao and meat are served first in front of them.The hospitality begins with this traditional dish.
Polao is not eaten all the time but is eaten only on special occasions.We mean, this Polao and meat are prepared during major Muslim festivals.No major festival or event is complete without Polao.The main dishes at weddings in our country are pulao and beef.But apart from the events, we also cook polao sometimes.For example, we try to cook polao once a week.In this case, Friday of the week is the best time because Friday is my day off.
So yesterday I cooked this traditional pola.Even though I am a boy, I can cook this polao with my own hands and I am very happy with it.I live in the city for work. A colleague and I share a room and we cook together.So last Friday I had a cooking date and I cooked pulao and chicken.Polao is also one of my favorite dishes, so I try to make it once a week.
