Hi, lovely people of this community. Today I’m bringing you one of those reviews that you have to write sometimes: when expectations don’t meet reality.
There’s a pizzeria called Zou Pizza near the gym I go to. It had always caught my sister's eye, so after seeing it so much, we decided to go in and give it a chance.
Upon seeing the menu, my first impression was that the place is somewhat expensive. You inevitably end up comparing, and I felt that the prices were above other well-known spots, like Pizza de Verdad, where I usually find better deals for similar or superior quality.
Even so, we decided to try a combo of two family-sized pizzas.
Unfortunately, the food left us a bit disappointed for a couple of reasons:
- The flavor: One of the pizzas had green bell pepper, and honestly, we didn't find it delicious at all; it gave it a flavor that didn't quite fit.
- The cooking: The lowest point was that the pizza was burnt on the bottom. That took away a lot of the enjoyment from the dough and left a bitter taste.
To be very honest, I wouldn’t go back. I feel that the price-quality ratio is unbalanced. As I mentioned before, for more accessible prices and even for the same quality, I prefer a thousand times to go to places like Pizza de Verdad.
At the end of the day, it's all about trying and learning, but this time the experience wasn't the best.

Holis, personitas de esta comunidad. Hoy les traigo una reseña de esas que a veces toca hacer: cuando las expectativas no se encuentran con la realidad.
Cerca del gimnasio al que voy hay una pizzería llamada Zou Pizza. A mi hermana siempre le había llamado la atención el lugar, así que después de verla tanto, decidimos entrar y darle una oportunidad.
Al ver el menú, mi primera impresión fue que el lugar es algo costoso. Inevitablemente uno termina comparando, y sentí que los precios estaban por encima de otros lugares conocidos, como Pizza de Verdad, donde suelo conseguir mejores ofertas por una calidad similar o superior.
Aun así, decidimos probar un combo de dos pizzas familiares.
Lamentablemente, la comida nos dejó un poco decepcionadas por un par de razones:
- El sabor: Una de las pizzas traía pimentón verde, y honestamente, no nos pareció nada delicioso; le daba un sabor que no terminaba de cuadrar.
- La cocción: El punto más bajo fue que la pizza estaba quemada por debajo. Eso le quitó mucho disfrute a la masa y dejó un sabor amargo.
Siendo muy sincera, no volvería. Siento que la relación calidad-precio no está equilibrada. Como les mencioné antes, por precios más accesibles e incluso por la misma calidad, prefiero mil veces ir a lugares como Pizza de Verdad.
Al final del día, se trata de probar y conocer, pero esta vez la experiencia no fue la mejor.
