Greetings, my dear food-loving friends. I hope you are all doing well, enjoying good health and happiness, and that this new month brings you many blessings and successes.
A few days ago, my daughter surprised us with a treat that brightened our afternoon after a heavy rain and hailstorm. She arrived at the store with two pieces of cheesecake for a snack. She had already tried it before and promised us that we could try this delicacy too.
The two pieces of cake were beautiful, looking perfect and delicious. They had a golden top layer, perfectly baked, the surface looking smooth and firm, with just a few crumbs that made it clear that it was very well made. Inside, a creamy filling, compact but soft, with a vanilla color that invited you to eat it without guilt or remorse.
Saludos, mis queridos amigos amantes de las comidas. Espero que se encuentren muy bien, con salud y bienestar, y que este mes que está comenzando venga cargado de muchas bendiciones y éxitos.
Hace unos días, mi hija nos sorprendió con un detalle que nos alegró la tarde, después de una intensa lluvia con granizo. Llegó al negocio con dos pedazos de cheesecake para merendar. Ya ella lo había probado antes y nos lo tenía prometido para que, también, nosotros probáramos esta delicia.
Los dos pedazos de torta eran una belleza, se veían perfectos y deliciosos. Tenían una capa superior doradita, perfectamente horneada, la superficie se veía lisa, firme, apenas con algunas miguitas que dejaban claro que estaba muy bien hecha. Por dentro, un relleno cremoso, compacto pero suave, de un color vainilla que invitaba a comerlo sin culpas ni remordimientos.
We accompanied our snack with a warm, frothy cappuccino to warm us up from the intense cold left behind by the rain. And it was, without exaggeration, the perfect combination.
The three of us sat down to enjoy the moment, simple but full of love. It was a little piece of shared happiness.
Acompañamos nuestra merienda con un capuchino bien espumoso y calientito para reconfortarnos del frío intenso que dejó la lluvia. Y fue, sin exagerar, la combinación perfecta.
Nos sentamos los tres a disfrutar del momento, sencillo, pero lleno de amor. Fue un pedacito de felicidad compartida.
