Greetings, my dear foodie friends, food lovers. I hope you are feeling great, healthy and well, and may these be days of many blessings and successes.
As part of the gifts we received on Friday during our Cuidarte Spa Day, we were taken to lunch at a restaurant that, honestly, I loved: Kilogramo. This place, located on Calle 95 #12-37, in the northern part of Bogota, is quite a discovery. From the moment we walked in, I was struck by its cozy atmosphere. Natural light floods the space, creating a warm and pleasant corner.
Saludos, mis queridos amigos foodies, amantes de las comidas. Espero que se encuentren muy bien, con salud y bienestar, y que sean días de muchas bendiciones y éxitos.
Como parte de los regalos que recibimos el viernes durante nuestro Día de Spa Cuidarte, nos llevaron a almorzar a un restaurante que, sinceramente, me encantó: Kilogramo. Este lugar, ubicado en la Calle 95 #12-37, en la zona norte de Bogotá, es todo un descubrimiento. Desde que entramos, me llamó la atención su ambiente tan acogedor. La luz natural inunda el espacio, creando un rincón cálido y agradable.
Lunch was simply delicious. We were served a dish that combined everything you would expect in a home-cooked meal, but with that special touch that only good restaurants know how to give. The piece of chicken was generous, juicy and perfectly seasoned, with an irresistible aroma. Accompanied by a loose, fluffy and freshly cooked rice. The fresh salad provided that crunchy and light contrast that I like so much, with carrot, cucumber, celery, lettuce and a little cabbage. The potatoes, golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside, were the perfect finishing touch to complete the dish.
I loved the feeling of abundance without excess, the balance between flavor, quality, quantity and freshness. Everything was just right. Without a doubt, having lunch at Kilogramo was another great gift that day for me.
El almuerzo fue, simplemente, delicioso. Nos sirvieron un plato que combinaba todo lo que uno espera en una comida casera, pero con ese toque especial que solo los buenos restaurantes saben darle. La pieza de pollo era generosa, jugosa y perfectamente sazonada, y con un aroma irresistible. Acompañado de un arroz suelto, esponjoso y en su punto, que se notaba recién hecho. La ensalada fresca aportaba ese contraste crujiente y ligero que tanto me gusta, con zanahoria, pepino, célery, lechuga y un poco de repollo. Las papas, doraditas por fuera y suaves por dentro, fueron el broche perfecto para completar el plato.
Me encantó la sensación de abundancia sin excesos, el equilibrio entre sabor, calidad, cantidad y frescura. Todo estaba en su punto. Sin duda, almorzar en Kilogramo fue otro gran regalo de ese día para mí.
