¡Hola amigos, feliz día! Espero que se encuentren bien y que hayan tenido un increíble día. Por mi parte, me encuentro bastante bien gracias a Dios. El día de hoy me tocó hacer algunas diligencias en el centro de la ciudad, entre esas, cambiar la montura de mis lentes de lectura, por lo que una vez me decidí por unos y el señor a cargo empezó a diseñarlos decidí que iría a almorzar para quemar horas mientras estaban listas.
Mi suegra me recomendó un restaurante increíble que justo queda en el centro llamado "El Arriero" y como dice en su menú su sabor es auténticamente paisa. Algo que me gustó del lugar es que es bastante amplio y cuenta con una zona con aire acondicionado que justo para estos calores de la ciudad, queda perfecto.
En el menú se encuentran muchísimas opciones, entre esas sancochos, bandeja paisa, churrasco, pescados, entre otros. Yo me decidí por una mini parrilla mixta que contenía cerdo asado, pollo asado y churrasco de res, también traía chorizo, papitas fritas y ensalada tradicional. Por un valor de $39.000 pesos colombianos ($9.64 dólares) y adicional, pedí una sopa para acompañar, aunque en realidad era más como una entrada.
La sopa, como les mencioné anteriormente, fue más una entrada que compartí con Fer, estaba súper rica y espesa que es justo como me gusta. Por otra parte, el plato fuerte también me gustó muchísimo, las carnes tenían un sabor delicioso como si estuvieran cocinadas al carbón y acompañándolas con un poco de chimichurri resaltaba aún más, también nos entregaron otras opciones de salsas como ají picante y salsa de ajo.
Al final, decidí pedir una limonada de cereza tipo frappé que estaba muy rica, se sentía dulce y bastante refrescante, para el calor fue una opción perfecta. La atención me gustó bastante ya que fue rápida y la comida en si, no demoró tanto para llegar a la mesa. Sin duda, fue una muy buena idea almorzar en el lugar, para una proxima visita al centro ya se dónde puedo hacer una pausa y disfrutar de un increíble almuerzo, así que por aquí les dejo el dato por si alguna vez visitan el centro de Barranquilla y quieren un buen lugar para almorzar. On the other hand, I also liked the main course very much, the meats had a delicious flavor as if they were cooked on charcoal and accompanying them with a little chimichurri highlighted even more, they also gave us other options of sauces such as hot bell pepper and garlic sauce.
At the end, I decided to order a frappé cherry lemonade which was very tasty, it felt sweet and quite refreshing, a perfect option for the heat. I liked the service very much as it was fast and the food itself did not take so long to get to the table.
