Les cuento que hace días en una de nuestras visitas al Oxxo decidimos comprar un café, ya que la tarde se prestaba para disfrutar de uno. Entre las opciones había latte, americano, espresso, tinto, Cappuccino, entre otros.
Al final, me decidí por un Cappuccino, pero para darle un poco más de sabor quise probar el de Amaretto, ya que me llamaba mucho la atención. La verdad, antes no había tenido la oportunidad de probar este licor o su sabor como tal y debo decir que la combinación con café es realmente increíble. Tiene una combinación entre dulce y sabor amaderado que, aunque al primer sorbo puede confundirse con amargo, luego del segundo sorbo es realmente delicioso. El olor, aunque un poco fuerte en lo personal, me encantó, ya que es un aroma dulce donde se aprecia también el olor del café.
Por cierto, en lo personal, me gustó más este sabor que el de macadamia, ya que este último me parece más dulce. Al final, decidí comprar un croissant tradicional para acompañar y quedé encantada. Estaba dorado y crujiente por afuera y por dentro bastante suave. En total, pagué $7.800 pesos colombianos ($1.90 dólares) por la merienda que, sin duda, disfruté al máximo. In the end, I decided on a Cappuccino, but to give it a little more flavor, I wanted to try the Amaretto one, since it caught my attention. To tell the truth, I had not had the opportunity to try this liqueur or its flavor as such before, and I must say that the combination with coffee is really incredible. It has a combination between sweet and woody flavor that, although at the first sip it can be mistaken for bitter, after the second sip it is really delicious. The smell, although a little strong personally, I loved it, since it is a sweet aroma where you can also appreciate the smell of coffee.
By the way, personally, I liked this flavor better than the macadamia flavor, since the latter seems sweeter to me. In the end, I decided to buy a traditional croissant to go with it and I was delighted. It was golden brown and crispy on the outside and quite soft on the inside.
