Hoy no les traigo una receta, hoy les traigo un recuerdo de mi infancia, porque definitivamente hay sabores que se quedan con nosotros al pasar de los años y es fantástico ver cómo a pesar del tiempo y aúnque en este caso ya no sea una niña físicamente, sigo disfrutando, tal cuál fuera esa pequeña, de estás deliciosas, suaves y únicas galletas.
Porqué presisamente este tipo de galletas, pues porque estás estuvieron en mi merienda infantil y aún con el pasar de los años siguen siendo un exquisito gusto al paladar y creo si no me equivoco que también son las favoritas de muchos de nosotros, ya que estás también son tradición en mi estado Zulia, Venezuela.
"Galletas de huevo" así es como llaman a estás galletas suaves, esponjosas, amarillitas y deliciosas, siiiiii! pequeñas tentaciones, que solía disfrutar con leche o con una popular bebida achocolatada llamada toddy, en casa de mis abuelas o en la mía, eran las más populares para acompañar una merienda en aquellos años de mi infancia.
A todos, bien sea grandes o pequeños nos encantaba probar una de estas galletas, los adultos la mojaban en café, la verdad yo nunca lo hice porque en ese tiempo aún no me gustaba esta bebida, sin embargo igual disfrutaba de estas solas o acompañadas, sentados a la mesa o corriendo por los patios.
Seguir disfrutando de estas galletas es ideal, en casa a todos les gustan y mi hijo @edcraft, nos a deleitado con estas galletas de huevo hechas en casa, el olor impregna la casa y hasta la calle en la urbanización, es mi primera experiencia horneando estás galletas, anteriormente siempre las probé de esas que ofrece el mercado y estás suelen ser un poco más grande.
Por años este tipo de galletas como ya les comenté han sido parte especial de nuestras meriendas, en la casa o en la escuela a todos nos veían con una rueda esponjosa y amarilla en nuestras manos, eso sin hablar de la azúcar glas que las envolvía y que ensuciaba nuestra ropa.
Estás galletas de huevo siguen siendo una de las principales en mi lista de galletas favoritas, son una gran tentación culposa, porque si te descuidas no puedes parar de comerlas, esa textura blanda y rico sabor si que me atrapa.
Para mí se han convertido en un tradición, que con el tiempo nos sigue acompañando a la mesa a la hora de una infaltable merienda, que deleita a chicos y grandes, es una de esas comidas que te llenan de grandes sabores y hermosos recuerdos.

Egg biscuits. A classic with a childhood flavour.
Today I am not bringing you a recipe, today I am bringing you a memory of my childhood, because there are definitely flavours that stay with us as the years go by and it is fantastic to see how, despite the passing of time and even though in this case I am no longer a child physically, I still enjoy these delicious, soft and unique biscuits, just as I did when I was that little girl.
Why precisely this type of biscuits, because they were in my childhood snack and even with the passing of the years they are still an exquisite taste to the palate and I think if I'm not mistaken that they are also the favourite of many of us, as they are also a tradition in my state of Zulia, Venezuela.
"Egg biscuits" is what they call these soft, fluffy, yellow and delicious biscuits, yessssss! little temptations, that I used to enjoy with milk or with a popular chocolate drink called toddy, at my grandmothers house or mine, they were the most popular to accompany a snack in those years of my childhood.
Everyone, big or small, loved to try one of these biscuits, adults dipped them in coffee, the truth is that I never did it because at that time I still did not like this drink, but I still enjoyed them alone or with others, sitting at the table or running through the courtyard.
To continue enjoying these biscuits is ideal, at home everyone likes them and my son @edcraft, has delighted us with these homemade egg biscuits, the smell permeates the house and even the street in the urbanization, it is my first experience baking these biscuits, previously I always tried those that the market offers and these are usually a little bigger.
For years this type of biscuits as I already mentioned have been a special part of our snacks, at home or at school we were all seen with a spongy and yellow wheel in our hands, not to mention the icing sugar that wrapped them and that dirtied our clothes.
