Hello friends, today I want to share with you a classic recipe from here in Cuba; but readjusted to current socioeconomic circumstances. Rice pudding is one of the most popular and delicious sweets prepared in my country. Due to the shortage of rice and milk and the increase in price of these products, there has been a decrease in their preparation at the national level and here in Havana (capital of the country), cinnamon, which gives the dish its characteristic flavor, is also absent in the market. Below I share with you how I made rice pudding the last time.
INGREDIENTES - 250g de arroz - 500g de azúcar - 250g de leche en polvo - 750ml de agua para preparar la leche - 500ml de agua para preparar el arroz - galletas dulces de su preferencia
INGREDIENTS
- 250g of rice
- 500g of sugar
- 250g of milk powder
- 750ml of water to prepare the milk
- 500ml of water to prepare the rice
- sweet biscuits of your choice

PREPARATION
- Heat 750ml of water and when it reaches the boiling point add the milk powder and sugar. Reserve.
- Heat the 500ml of water and when it starts to boil, add the previously washed rice. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.
- Place the rice and add it to the milk. Cook for 20 minutes or until it reaches the desired consistency.
- Crush the cookies and spread them over the candy when serving. It can be consumed hot or cold.

SERVINGS: serves 4 people.
