Arcade Colony Sign-In Issue
Earlier, I was trying to log in to the Invennium SSO (the sign-in page for Arcade Colony), but I encountered an issue that’s preventing me from signing in. I’m supposed to check out the StakeHouse Den to see how it works.
Although I’ve read some posts about it and already got a glimpse and tried to play, for some unknown reason, I’m unable to log in. It’s supposed to be a straightforward sign-in process, but there seems to be a technical issue, which I hope will be resolved soon.
A Quick Note About Dinner
While waiting for the issue to be resolved, I just got back home after dinner and thought I’d share a bit about it.
Tonight’s dinner was at one of my new favorite claypot stalls called Claypot Delight. I believe it opened recently, and it looks like they haven’t fully renovated the stall yet. The place is set up with only the most basic interior and minimal equipment.
The stall itself isn’t very impressive, but the food is what really stood out. They offer a variety of claypot dishes at affordable prices, which I think is a smart strategy... letting the quality and value of the food create its own buzz.
Interestingly, the stall is run by just one person, which is quite impressive. In my opinion, a setup like this would usually require at least two people.
Why I Enjoy Claypot Dishes
What I like about dishes cooked in a claypot is the way the sauce thickens and caramelizes. This process allows the dish to "evolve" with a more distinct flavor and aroma. As the sauce continues to boil within the pot, it develops a rich, thick consistency around the edges, and the resulting smoky aroma makes the dish even more appetizing.
What I Tried Tonight
I’ve already tried the Chicken in Sesame Sauce and the Chicken in Red Wine Sauce. Between the two, I personally prefer the chicken in sesame sauce because the flavor suits my taste better.
To try something different, I also ordered the Claypot Pig Trotters.
In Chinese cuisine, this dish may seem simple, but the taste is actually quite complex, especially considering the sauce and herbs used to boil it. The gelatinous skin of the trotter adds a deep, rich flavor that really completes the dish.
It is also said that pig trotters are rich in collagen, which is believed to be beneficial for the skin.
Final Thoughts
For me, it was the texture that made tonight’s dinner so enjoyable. I like that slightly chewy consistency where it still offers some resistance but is easy to bite through.
If you’re wondering, this dish usually contains minimal lean meat, so if you’re not used to eating this kind of protein, it might not be to your liking.
Overall, tonight’s dinner was a satisfying experience that reminded me why I enjoy exploring simple, flavorful dishes. Claypot cooking continues to impress me with its depth, texture, and comforting appeal. I’m looking forward to trying more from this stall and sharing future finds with you soon.
