It is weekend again and for intoverts like me that doesn't fancy going out to lounge, clubs, gardens or restaurant every time, you can make some spicy, juicy and flavor packed grilled chicken in the comfort of your home. Grilled chicken can made in no time with the right amount of spices and other ingredients. You also need the right amount of patience so that you wont be eating half done chicken.
Let me put you through the step by step process of making a sumptuous spicy grilled chicken in your house.
Ingredients
½ kilo Chicken
Blended scotch bonnet peppers
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp herbal spice
2 seasoning cubes
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sliced onions
Step by Step
Start by washing your chicken thoroughly and cut into small pieces that will make it grill properly.
In a bowl combine and mix your curry powder, thyme, herbal spice, salt, and seasoning cubes (crushed).
Next, add some blended scotch bonnet peppers and some vegetable oil and mix very well.
Now, marinate your chicken with the mixture and ensure that you coat every part of the chicken.
Next, use a nylon wrap or foil paper to cover the bowl and place it in the freezer for about 30 minutes or more.
After about 30 minutes, bring out the chicken and place them on your oven tray. Then place the oven tray in your preheated oven and grill for about 25 minutes or until both sides of the chicken is golden brown.
- Once it is done put off the heat and enjoy.
- Serve by garnishing with some sliced onions, cabbage, fried plantain and so on.
