Hola a todos, espero que su semana esté yendo de maravilla. Hoy paso por aquí para contarles de otro increíble restaurante que tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar en Cartagena. Este restaurante tiene un nombre bastante raro que cuando mi amiga me dijo yo pensé que ella estaba fuera de donde me estaba hospedando y ella me estaba pidiendo que saliera. Así es, el nombre es sal si puedes. Bastante raro no? Aunque les cuento que venden una comida casera bastante deliciosa, la atención es increíble y los precios muy buenos.
Hello everyone, I hope your week is going great. Today I am stopping by to tell you about another amazing restaurant we had the opportunity to visit in Cartagena. This restaurant has a rather strange name that when my friend told me I thought she was outside where I was staying and she was asking me to come out. That's right, the name is sal si puedes. Pretty weird isn't it? Although I can tell you that they sell quite delicious homemade food, the service is incredible and the prices are very good.
Mi amiga Luisa fué quien nos recomendó este restaurante y es súper cómico porque la comida te la sirven en calderos o mini ollitas. Además, ellos tienen un menú bastante variado y lo mejor de todo es que tienen ventiladores en cada esquina lo cual es súper necesario porque Cartagena es muy calurosa y no se disfrutaría comer con tanto calor. Estos ventiladores son gigantes y la verdad es que refrescan bastante para comer con tranquilidad y fresquitos.
My friend Luisa was the one who recommended this restaurant and it is super funny because the food is served in cauldrons or mini pots. Besides, they have a varied menu and the best of all is that they have fans in every corner which is super necessary because Cartagena is very hot and you would not enjoy eating with so much heat. These fans are gigantic and the truth is that they are very refreshing to eat with tranquility and cool.
Allí como ven, estábamos los 6 juntos y cada uno se pidió un plato diferente por eso les mostraré fotos de casi todos ellos. Nosotros ordenamos pollo guisado y posta cartagenera ya que Jose quería probarla porque se la recomendaban mucho. Otro pidió sancocho de costilla y Ena nuestra roomie ordenó el calderito de carne mechada. Finalmente, Luisa por su parte ordenó un mote de queso el cual también lucía bastante bueno.
There, as you can see, the 6 of us were together and each one ordered a different dish, so I will show you pictures of almost all of them. We ordered chicken stew and posta cartagenera as Jose wanted to try it because it was highly recommended. Another one ordered sancocho de costilla and Ena our roomie ordered the calderito de carne mechada. Finally, Luisa ordered a mote de queso which also looked pretty good.
Si van allí, traten de ir sin desayunar y con mucha hambre porque las porciones son bastante grandes y quedas a reventar. Me parece bastante curioso la forma en la que sirven la comida pero es bastante nuevo para nosotros y quedamos contentos porque estaba bastante delicioso. Todos nosotros le damos 10/10 a este local así que si visitan Cartagena no duden en ir allí porque van a amarlo tanto como nosotros. Además de que también consiguen un jugo de coroso muy rico que deben probar.
If you go there, try to go without breakfast and with a lot of hunger because the portions are quite big and you will be stuffed. I find it quite curious the way they serve the food but it is quite new for us and we were happy because it was quite delicious. We all give this place 10/10 so if you visit Cartagena don't hesitate to go there because you will love it as much as we did. Plus you also get a very tasty coroso juice that you must try.
En este restaurante venden unas jarras de jugo que pueden comprar por grupos y les sale a mejor precio y alcanza para todos. La atención debo resaltar nuevamente que es muy buena que estuvieron pendiente de nuestra mesa en todo momento a comparación de otros restaurantes que visitamos allá y les estaré hablando de ellos en los próximos posts. In this restaurant they sell jugs of juice that you can buy in groups and you get a better price and it is enough for everyone.
