Hola a todos, espero que su semana haya ido de maravilla. Hoy paso por aquí para contarles de un nuevo restaurante que tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar en diciembre. Se trata de Mekong y está ubicado en el centro comercial Viva Envigado. La verdad es que nosotros fuimos ese día al mall a hacer unas diligencias pero no sabíamos qué almorzar y pensamos en improvisar así que este lugar fue una excelente opción. La comida es deliciosa y sus platos son preparados con ingredientes que se nota que son de buena calidad. Para acompañar los platos pedimos dos limonadas una de coco y otra de cereza y como ven son grandes y traen muy buena cantidad y de comer José se pido un Donburi de solomito de res y yo un sushi Kasummi que era tempurizado. Ambos platos estaban deliciosos y con una presentación muy bonita.
Ahora bien, hablando un poco de los platos el sushi tenía pulpo parrillado por encima que al probarlo pensé que era carne asada jajajaja pero estaba sabrosisimo y eso que nunca me había atrevido a probar el pulpo pero de esta forma me encantó. El plato de sushi también estaba relleno de palmitos de cangrejo y queso Philadelphia que le daba un toque único. Por otro lado el donburi venía con solomito de res, mix de hongos y arroz y también estaba sabrosisimo. Por todo esto incluyendo el servicio pagamos 143 mil pesos colombianos o lo que es aproximadamente unos 36 USD. Sin duda, volvería a este local solo que es importante que sepas que sus platos no son grandes así que si vas con mucha hambre probablemente no quedes satisfecho y termines pidiendo otra cosa.
La atención es muy buena, la comida deliciosa y sus bebidas también. Y el lugar es muy bonito para llevar una buena conversación. Esto fué todo por hoy, espero que les haya gustado. Nos leemos en un próximo post. Un abrazo

Hello everyone, I hope you've had a wonderful week. Today I'm here to tell you about a new restaurant we had the opportunity to visit in December. It's called Mekong and it's located in the Viva Envigado shopping center. The truth is that we went to the mall that day to run some errands, but we didn't know what to have for lunch, so we decided to improvise, and this place was an excellent choice. The food is delicious, and their dishes are prepared with ingredients that are clearly of good quality. To accompany the dishes, we ordered two lemonades, one coconut and one cherry, and as you can see, they are large and come in generous portions. José ordered a beef tenderloin Donburi, and I had Kasummi sushi, which was tempura-style. Both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented.
Now, talking a little about the dishes, the sushi had grilled octopus on top, which when I tasted it I thought was roast beef, ha ha ha, but it was delicious, even though I had never dared to try octopus before. I loved it this way. The sushi dish was also filled with crab sticks and Philadelphia cheese, which gave it a unique touch. On the other hand, the donburi came with beef tenderloin, mixed mushrooms, and rice, and it was also delicious. For all this, including service, we paid 143,000 Colombian pesos, or approximately $36 USD. I would definitely return to this place, but it's important to know that the dishes aren't large, so if you go very hungry, you probably won't be satisfied and will end up ordering something else.
