Hola a todos, espero que su semana haya ido de maravilla. Hoy paso por aquí para contarles que tuvimos la oportunidad de asistir al Medellin Gourmet de este año. Si, a este evento donde los restaurantes participantes sacan un menú o a veces dos para dos personas a buen precio y con un montón de comida. En esta oportunidad volvimos a Akashi, nuestro restaurante favorito de sushi y que tiene dos sedes una en Oviedo y la otra en el Ámsterdam plaza y como queríamos tener una cita bien bonita decidimos ir al Ámsterdam porque consigues de todo tipo de comida y lugares para sentarte a tomar buenos cócteles, en fin una maravilla.
Nosotros pedimos el menú de 155 mil pesos colombianos o lo que es aproximadamente unos 38,75 USD. La verdad es que es un menú bastante grande y que quedas satisfecho además de que estaba tan delicioso. Los sabores de Akashi son tan únicos e irresistibles. Este menú traía dos opciones de entrada y nosotros escogimos el hand roll mix de 2 unidades, como opciones de platos fuertes yo perdí un roll tempura llamado Dragón roll y José ordenó el Kintsugui roll. Finalmente, como postre venía una genovesa de pistacho, 2 té hatsu y los respectivos bonos de chevignon.
Este menú también trae un agua y un café pero el café solo lo dan en la hora del almuerzo y la verdad es que también viene con una botella de agua pero creo que se les olvidó traérnosla ya que había bastante gente en el restaurante yendo a probar uno de los menús del medellin gourmet que son deliciosos y la verdad es que también salen a muy buen precio. Todo nos encantó, la pasamos genial aquí y al salir nos fuimos a otro local a disfrutar de unas cervezas bien frías. Así que no se pierdan este evento que estara hasta el 11 de mayo. Hello everyone, I hope your week has been going great. Today I stop by to tell you that we had the opportunity to attend this year's Medellin Gourmet. Yes, to this event where the participating restaurants put out a menu or sometimes two for two people at a good price and with a lot of food. This time we went back to Akashi, our favorite sushi restaurant which has two locations, one in Oviedo and the other in the Amsterdam plaza and as we wanted to have a nice date we decided to go to the Amsterdam because you get all kinds of food and places to sit and have good cocktails, in short, a marvelous place.
We ordered the menu for 155 thousand Colombian pesos or approximately 38.75 USD. The truth is that it is a pretty big menu and you are satisfied and it was so delicious. Akashi's flavors are so unique and irresistible. This menu had two starter options and we chose the hand roll mix of 2 units, as main course options I missed a tempura roll called Dragon roll and Jose ordered the Kintsugui roll. Finally, for dessert there was a pistachio genoise, 2 hatsu teas and the respective chevignon bonuses.
This menu also comes with water and coffee but the coffee is only served at lunch time and the truth is that it also comes with a bottle of water but I think they forgot to bring it to us since there were quite a few people in the restaurant going to try one of the medellin gourmet menus which are delicious and the truth is that they also come at a very good price. We loved everything, we had a great time here and when we left we went to another place to enjoy some cold beers. So don't miss this event that will be until May 11.
