We mostly make it when we are not feeling well like when we have a cold or when there is pain in the throat, then we make this dish because it is simple and also gives strength. And it is also very tasty, so because of this today I have shared its recipe with you guys. Ingredients needed

Yakhni masala

Making process
So guys, to make mutton yakhni, first I took 1 kg mutton. I washed it well. Then I took a pressure cooker and put the mutton into it. Now I took around 6 to 7 onions and chopped them very thin. Now out of those 7 onions, I put around 2 onions into the pressure cooker. We will use the remaining onions later.






Then I added 3 cups of water. Then I added oil according to my estimate. You can add as much as you want. Then I added spices. In spices, I added 2 tablespoons salt, 1 teaspoon turmeric, and 3 tablespoons yakhni masala. After adding all these, I cooked it in a pressure cooker for 15 minutes on low flame.






After that, I took another pot. I added oil to it. Then I added the remaining onions and fried them well. When they became golden brown, I took them out.





Now, after 15 minutes, our yakhni was also cooked a little. The meat was not fully soft because later we had to cook it with potatoes as well, so it only needed to be slightly soft. Then I added the fried onions to it.



After that, I took 9 potatoes, peeled them, and then added them as well. Now again, I added 2 to 3 cups of water.






After that, I added 1 kg chickpeas which were boiled. I had bought them already boiled from the shop. Then I added them to the pressure cooker. After that, I added 2 tablespoons black pepper. Then I again cooked it for 15 minutes in the pressure cooker. And like this, our mutton yakhni is ready.




Way to eat
The way to eat it is like this: first we take a bowl, then we take tandoori roti, which we call naan, and we have to cut it into small small pieces. Then we have to pour this yakhni on top of it with meat and potatoes. Then we eat it with a spoon. This is a very tasty and simple dish.
