Easy And Healthy Red Beans Recipe

Hello friends how are you all I hope everyone will be fine. I am also fine and enjoying my life. So today I really wanted to eat red beans so today I made red beans and thought I should share its recipe with you all. Red beans is my favorite among all beans and it is also very beneficial because it has a lot of fiber. And it is also very good for heart health. I always eat red beans with yogurt because with yogurt it tastes very good to me. So now without wasting much time let’s start cooking red beans.


Ingredients

To make red beans the things that are needed are these.
Red beans (5 cups)
Whole garlic
Red chili powder (2 table spoon)
Salt (1 and half table spoon)
Oil (half cup)
Water (10 cups)
Crushed red chili (1 table spoon)
To make red beans only these things are needed.


Boiling the red beans

So first of all I took 5 cups red beans then washed them well. Then I put them in the pressure cooker. And in the pressure cooker we have to add around 10 cups water and close the pressure cooker for 1 hour. Now if in 1 hour red beans become soft then it is fine but if they do not then add a little more water and keep it to cook for 10–20 mins.


Preparing the spices

So now we will fry the spices in oil and we will add this into red beans. So first of all I peeled 1 whole garlic well and then washed it. Now I grated it. Now I took half cup oil in a pan then added the grated garlic into the oil. Now cooked it well until it became brown. Now when it became brown then I added 2 table spoon red chili powder and 1 and half table spoon salt and 1 table spoon crushed red chili into it now turn off the stove and then mix all of this well.


Adding the spices into red beans

Now I added these fried spices into red beans then mixed the spices well with red beans. If there is too much water in red beans then remove some water before adding spices. Meaning you can reduce or increase the water according to the consistency you want.


Final result

So now after adding the spices this dish is ready. I ate it with yogurt and naan bread and it became very tasty. I hope you all liked this recipe. Really an easy but good and cheap recipe. I like so much red Beans well honestly I like all kind of beans and in Italy we have many traditional recipes with beans.
