Today i would like to share the recipe of Aloo(potato) fry Restaurant style, Having potato is common in india. As always it is simplest & easy recipe with less ingredients & More flavour can be prepared with in 10 mins. In this recipe boiled potato are well sauted in indian spices, usually it is served with indian bread (roti & Partha), however it also tastes great as side dish to poori(fried bread) and rice. Ingredients 📃


• 4-5 Boiled Potatoes.
• 4 tbsp of oil.
• 1 tbsp of Cumin seeds.
• 1/2 tbsp of Asafoetida.
• 1 tbsp of Red Chilli Powder.
• 1 tbsp of Kasuri Methi.
• Salt to taste.

Boiled the potatoes in pressure cooker, if you already had boiled potato, just peel it off.

Cut in the cubes as shown in the picture.

firstly, heat oil and saute cumin seeds & asafoetida till it turns aromatic. further keeping the flame low, Add the red chilli Powder, at high flame your chilli powder can burn, so be careful. saute on low flame without burning the spices.

add cubed potatoes into the Masala.

Add the kasuri methi on the top of the potatoes, then mix it well it enhances the flavour and allows its flavour to meld more deeply with the other ingredients.

mix gently without breaking potatoes. Mix it well so thats masala get well coated with the potatoes. Let it toast for 5-7 minutes on low flame for more flavour.
