Today again sharing simple, quick and easy dry aloo Gobi recipe made with a combination of potatoes and cauliflower. It is one of the most common day side dish recipe served with roti or parthana in my house. During the winters cauliflower is seasonal vegetables, it taste is much better than available during summers. Potato and cauliflower is mixed with onion and tomato gravy with indian spices. Ingredients 📃
• 1 small sized cauliflower.
• 1 small size potato.
• 1 finely chopped Onion.
• 1 finely chopped capsicum.
• 3-5 cloves of garlic.
• 1 finely chopped Tomato.
• 2 tbsp of Mustard oil.
• 1 tbsp of cumin seeds.
• Pinch of asafoetida.
• 1 tbsp of turmeric powder.
• 1 tbsp of Red chilli powder.
• 1/2 tbsp of kathuri methi.
• 1/2 Garam masala.
• Salt to taste.
Preparation
Chopped the onion and capsicum with the help of chopper.
cut the ghobi and potato in the medium size in the water, so that potato doesn't turn to black.
Process 🧑🍳
firstly, in a large kadai, heat oil and saute cumin seeds and asafoetida.
further, add garlic, chopped onion & capsicum and saute well, untill it get aromatic at low flame.
Now add the chopped tomato, cook untill it get soft.
keeping the flame on low add turmeric, chilli powder and salt. Saute untill spices become aromatic.
now add fried aloo and gobi.
mix gently so that it coated with spices without breaking them.
When your Gobi aloo is ready, add the garam masala and kasthuri methi, mix it gently.
finally, aloo gobi dry recipe is ready to serve with roti or Paratha.
