Today i would like to share the recipe of Bottle Gourd Peel Fry or Lauki ke chhile ki Sabji this recipe is made up of Bottle gourd peels coated with indian spices. Vegetable peels are full of nutrients so I always thought of using them as food,So I don't throw them, believe me guys it is delicious in taste and healthy too. There are numerous benefits of consuming bottle gourd like digestion and hydration due to its high water and fiber content, help in weight loss even It also helps to maintain blood sugar, promotes healthy skin, and many more. Try this healthy recipe, 'm sure you gonna love it.

Ingredients📃


• 1 Chopped Bottle Gourd Peel.
• 1 Chopped Potato.
• 2 tbsp of mustard Oil.
• 1 tbsp of cumin seeds.
• Pinch Of asafoetida.
• 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder.
• 1/2 tbsp of Red chilli powder.
• 1/2 tbsp of Garam Masala.
• Salt to taste.

As i have made Bottle Gourd Balls(Lauki ke kofte) with gravy, for that i grated the bottle gourd, instead of throwing the peels, I made this recipe. So you can use the peels of bottle gourd, firstly wash thoroughly the bottle gourd peels.

Chopped the bottle gourd peels with potato as shown in the picture.

Heat the mustard oil in the kadai/pan, add the cumin seeds & asafoetida, let it splutter. On low flame add the turmeric powder & Red chilli Powder, be careful so that your spices didn't burn.

now add the chopped bottle gourd peel & potato, mix it well, so that spices get well coated with peels and potato.

Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until completely cooked. Stir in between.

Open the lid, add garam Masala, mix it well. Increase the flame, stir fry it until dry.

Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with a green coriander leaves, serve it as side dish to your meal. Or you can enjoy it with indian bread - Roti or chaapati...
