Hello Friends, how are you all ? Wishing you all happy and prosperous life ahead.
Chaat is a very popular street food in India, which is easily found in almost every street. This is a snack that is tasted differently in every corner of the country. Chaat not only Like by indian but also people of various countries like to have chaat, I must say that "chaat" become the Most famous street foof of the World. Chart is a word in itself which makes your mouth water and makes your heart want to eat. There are many types of chaat, Aloo Chaat, Papdi Chaat, Samosa Chaat.
After a long time, I went to have chaat with my family,Earlier, when I was younger, I used to go often, but now everyone is so busy with their work that it is not possible for everyone to go together. You can find chaatt carts everywhere in the streets of India, but today I went to the special chaat corner where there was a variety of items- Aloo Tikki, Dahi bhalle, Batashe, Suji k batashe, Matar ki Tikki, Kastha & Papdi.
Aloo Tikki, it is amazing & tangy dish has aloo tikki (fried potato patties) with a topping of sweet and jaggery chutney & tamarind chutney, spicy green chutney, curd (yogurt) and sprinkle with Salt, Red chilli powder (optional) , Garnish it with Chopped onion and Green Coriander leaves. I hope that if you read my blog post then definitely your mouth would be watering and you would definitely be craving for this food.
Panipuri or Batashe or Golgappa or Puchi,It has many names depending on the different state but I But called it Batashe in my language. It is Deep-fried Bread in the shape of small balls filled with boiled White peas and with Sour & Spicy water. Now there has been variation even in the Pani puri water like Garlic Flavour, Mint flavour, Sweet flavour, Asafoetida flavour and more. But the cart where I ate it had the one type of water which was sour & spicy.
Dahi Bhalle or Dahi Vada made with urad dal fritters and dipped soaked in spiced creamy yoghurt sauce, Topped with jaggery Chutney, sprinkle with chaat Masala & Garnish it with Green Coriander leaves. I didn't ate it, it's bit hot in India due to which the curd tastes sour, even too heavy to eat, even Difficult to digest during summer. The real pleasure of eating Dahi Bade is in winter.
If you ever come to India, do enjoy the chaat, where you will get sweet and sour spices and all the flavours in one Cart even at reasonable price, i must as it is made of Potato Patties, it is much better than junck food made up of Maida(all-purpose flour)
Thankyou 😄
