Today i would like to share the recipe of vegetable Khichdi it is healthy recipes made up of daal and Rice with lots of veggies and Aroma and flavours of Indian spices.
Khichdi recipe has always been India’s queen of all foods and perhaps the most common food in every Indian household. It can be served in the lunch or dinner time, paired up with flavoured curd, pickle, salad or papad depending on your choice and taste. It is healthy recipes as it can veggies, i have added only onion and tomatoes but you can add vegetables of your choice and taste. It is one pot recipe, quickly and easy to prepare with basic ingredients. It is easy by adult and kids to as it is easy, healthy and easy to digest. Guys try this recipe, 'm sure you gonna like it.

Ingredients📃
• 1 cup rice.
• ½ cup toor dal.
• ½ cup moong dal.
• 1 tbsp ghee.
• 1 tsp cumin.
• Pinch hing/Asafoetida.
• 1 Chopped onion.
• 1 Chopped tomato.
• 3-4 cloves of chopped Garlic.
• ½ tsp turmeric.
• ½ tsp chilli powder.
• ½ tsp coriander powder.
• Salt to taste.
• water as required.
• Coriander leaves for Garnish.
for tempering
• 2 tbsp ghee.
• 1 tsp cumin.
• Pinch hing/asafoetida.
• 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.
Process 👨🏻🍳
Preparation

Firstly, in a bowl take rice, toor dal and moong daal, raise with water thrice to remove dirts and now soak with them for 15-20 minutes.

On the other hand, chopped the onion, tomato and Garlic.
Make Khichdi

In a cooker, heat the ghee. Add cumin and hing. Saute until the spices turn aromatic.

Further add chopped onion and garlic, Saute till they are cooked well.

Keeping the flame on low, add turmeric, chilli powder, and coriander powder. Saute until the spices turn aromatic.

Also, add 1 tomato and cook well.

Add in soaked rice and dal. Pour in 4 cup water, salt, and mix well.

Cover and pressure cook for 3 whistles or until the rice and dal are cooked well. mix well adjusting the consistency as required.
For Tempering

heat ghee in a tadka pan then add cumin seeds and asafoetida wait untill it starts crackling. Switch off the flame, let's cool down the tempering, then add red Chilli powder to avoid burning.

Now tempering is ready, you can pour right now and mix it well or pour the tempering while serving the hot khichdi.

Splutter the temperign and pour over the khichidi.

add green Coriander leaves and mix well.

Now serve the hot khichdi with flavoured curd, pickle of your choice, salad and papad for amazing flavour and Taste.
