Hello Friends, How are you all ?? Wishing you all happy and prosperous life Ahead.

Today i would like to share the recipe of Vermicelli or samiya, it is perfect indian breakfast, i have vermicelli once or twice a week. It is simple recipe when vermicelli is cooked with veggies and indian spices, you can add more veggies as per your choice and availablity at home, as I add only chopped tomato, to make to easy and simple.

Ingredients 📃


• 1 cup of Vermicelli.
• 1 chopped tomato.
• 1 tbsp of mustard seeds.
• Pinch of Asafoetida.
• 1 tbsp of Red chilli powder.
• 1 tbsp of turmeric powder.
• 1 packet of Maggie Masala.
• Water as required.
• Salt to taste.


Process📃


Roast the vermicelli

Heat the oil in a kadai, Roast the vermicelli on flow flame.

Be careful, while roasting, keep Stirring so thats it doesn't burn. so Roasted Vermicelli is ready to cook, keep it Aside.

In the same kadai, heat the oil again, add the mustard seeds and asafoetida, wait untill it start getting crackling. Now at low flame add all the indian Spices, one after the another.

Add add the chopped tomato, cooked it untill it get soft.

Now add the roasted vermicelli, mix it well upside down, so that spices get well coated with vermicelli.

Now add the water as required, don't add too much water.

cover with the lid, cook it on low flame. Mix it well, do not over mix as vermicelli will get mashed.

Your vermicelli is ready to serve for breakfast, enjoy the hot and tasty semiya or vermicelli with your friends and family.
