Siempre he tenido deseos de degustar otro tipo de ofertas gastronómicas, como la japonesa y la coreana, pero en mi ciudad no existía ninguna cafetería o restaurante con estas características. Me encontraba caminando por el centro de la ciudad buscando un lugar donde tomar café, cuando vi, el que era una cafetería llamada El Pocho, ahora tenía otro nombre, Gogi Bap, con adornos japoneses, inmediatamente llamó mi atención y me acerqué.

La amable camarera me recibió y le pregunté que opciones tenía y si ofertaban café, mi alegría se completó cuando me dijo que se trataba de una cafetería japonesa-coreana, cuyo dueño coreano, había inaugurado y se encontraba al frente de las elaboraciones. El lugar me encantó, los colores, las decoraciones, la pintura de la geisha en la pared, y sobre todo el menú, ya que el mismo tiene una confección esmerada, de calidad excelente, con fotos y explicaciones de los platos, ya que los cubanos no tenemos cultura de esos platos. Moría por probar el sushi, pero lamentablemente no aceptaban transferencia y no quise renunciar al café.

Así que me decidí por un café capuchino, que no es el mejor que he tomado, pero estaba delicioso, sin azúcar, por supuesto, luego pedí un plato llamado Korean Dumplings, que consistían en unas empanadillas rellenas de cerdo y vegetales, acompañados por una salsa de soja agridulce y picante, esto último muy delicioso, era lo que marcaba la diferencia en el plato, quedé encantada con el sabor diferente. Además, para finalizar pedí un frapuchino, que según me explicó la camarera, el símbolo que le hicieron con sirope de chocolate era un corazón en coreano.

La experiencia fue muy buena, pronto espero visitarlo de nuevo con una amiga y poder degustar por primera vez el famoso sushi, los precios me parecieron adecuados, con la única desventaja de no aceptar transferencia. ¿Me recomiendan el sushi?

I have always had a desire to taste other types of gastronomic offerings, such as Japanese and Korean, but in my city there was no coffee shop or restaurant with these characteristics. I was walking around downtown looking for a place to have coffee, when I saw, what was once a coffee shop called El Pocho, now had another name, Gogi Bap, with Japanese decorations, immediately caught my attention and I approached.

The kind waitress welcomed me and I asked her what options she had and if they offered coffee, my joy was completed when she told me that it was a Japanese-Korean coffee shop, whose Korean owner had opened and was in charge of the elaborations. I loved the place, the colors, the decorations, the painting of the geisha on the wall, and above all the menu, since it was carefully prepared, of excellent quality, with photos and explanations of the dishes, since we Cubans do not have a culture of those dishes. I was dying to try the sushi, but unfortunately they did not accept transfers and I did not want to give up coffee.

So I decided on a cappuccino coffee, which is not the best I have ever had, but it was delicious, without sugar, of course, then I ordered a dish called Korean Dumplings, which consisted of dumplings stuffed with pork and vegetables, accompanied by a sweet and sour and spicy soy sauce, the latter very delicious, it was what made the difference in the dish, I was delighted with the different flavor. In addition, to finish I ordered a frapuchino, which the waitress explained to me, the symbol that was made with chocolate syrup was a heart in Korean.

The experience was very good, soon I hope to visit again with a friend and taste for the first time the famous sushi, the prices seemed adequate, with the only disadvantage of not accepting transfer. Do you recommend the sushi?
