Aalu Ki Sabji Recipe

These days I am alone at home and sometime I don't feel like cooking food for myself but then I remember I need to share my recipe with you guys so here I am today with an incredibly delicious recipe to prepare sabji from potatoes or it's aloo ki sabzi. In each and every part of India you will find a unique and different way to prepare this recipe and I am here to share my way of preparing it. Aalu ki sabji is my favourite and in India you will see it in each and every vegetable you cook aloo and there are number of dishes that you can prepare from potatoes so yeah they are my favourite. I have started preparing food at the age of 10 and all the recipes I have learnt are either from my mother or from my grandmother they both are amazing chef and they have prepared amazing recipes for us till now and here I am passing this incredible treasure to you guys and hope you learn something new today.

Ingredients

1 Onion
4 cloves Garlic
2 tps Tomato sauce
2 tps Pasta Sauce
2 tps Coriander seed
2 tps Cumin powder
1 tps Red chilli powder
250 grams Tomatoes
1 tps Salt
2 tps Oil

One very important thing which makes a huge difference as preparing this vegetable or sabji in a pressure cooker cause it helps to cook the aloo very well and it enhances the taste several folds. Quantity of ingredients I have mention a earlier is enough for two people.

Wash the potatoes very well and remove move all the dirt are from them. Potatoes that you buy from the supermarket are not this muddy but these potatoes are straight from my farm.

Now we need to chop the onion very fine and do and hands the flavour you can also add to onions I have taken only one.

We will Also add garlic, like the taste of garlic if it gets brown during the tadka so I need to ensure that I don't overcook it or else it tastes good and enhances the flavour.

4 clothes of garlic will be enough and also you need to chop them very fine.

Also chop the potatoes in a form of cube so that they can go properly only in one whistle.

How it's time for us to prepare third ka and this is called masala Dani which holds all the spices that you have and we are going to use all of them in our recipe.

These are the catch UPS that I have used and you can use any tomato culture for you can also use the fresh tomato paste.

Tadka which is very essential part for this we have to use pressure cooker and we need to add two tablespoons of oil in it and let it heat for one or two minute.

Add coriander seeds and cumin seeds in it the next thing that we are going to add is garlic. Let it become golden and then add chopped onions to it. Mix it well and let it cook for 2 minutes. You can also add ginger garlic paste if you want I have totally skipped that cause I had garlic cloves with me.

Now at the tomato sauce as well as the pasta sauce and makes it well. In the picture above you can see how it turned out.

Now it's time to add our main ingredient which is potatoes, mix it well and let it go for 5 minutes. Now add some water to it and cover the pressure cooker with the lid.

It will take 10 minutes to cook properly and you can have it with rice or chapati I have it in it with rice and here is how I prepare it.

Only ingredient that you need is rice and some water so wash them properly and put them in a big pan.

Turn on the stove and let it go for 15 minutes. This is easy to prepare.

I had it with rice and curd and it was really delicious and soul satisfying.
