A Healthy Breakfast

Today, I'm sharing the recipe for a delicious breakfast I made a few days a.

It's really easy to make and highly nutritious, not only to start the day with energy, but also, in the particular case of my husband Gaspar, it fits in very well with his diet and the requirements of his health recovery.

Without further ado, let's get cooking.

‎Ingredients:

2 Swiss chard leaves.
2 medium potatoes.
1 onion.
2 eggs.
Cilantro.
Salt to taste.

Procedure:

Step 1.

Soften the potatoes, peel them, cut them into medium-sized pieces, and set aside.

Step 2.

Separate the stems from the chard leaves and chop finely. Cook the stems in water for approximately 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, add the chard leaves, boil for 2 minutes, and then strain. Set aside.

Step 4.

Chop the onion into small pieces and sauté in oil. Gradually add the ingredients, first the two eggs, then the potatoes, Swiss chard, cilantro, and finally salt to taste.

And that's it, we have a tasty breakfast, which, thanks to the eggs, helps to build muscle mass, while the cilantro and onion detoxify and reduce inflammation, in addition to the energy provided by the potatoes, which are a slow-absorbing carbohydrate.

Similarly, the doctor recommended adding Swiss chard to your diet for its vitamin K, iron, and magnesium content.

Hoy, les comparto la receta de un rico desayuno que preparé hace unos días, el procedimiento es realmente sencillo, pero con alto valor nutricional, no solo para comenzar el día con energía, sino que en el caso particular de mi esposo Gaspar, le ajusta muy bien a la dieta y exigencias propias de la recuperación de su salud.

Sin más preámbulo, manos a la cocina.

Ingredientes:

2 Hojas de acelga.
2 Papas medianas.
‎1 Cebolla.
2 Huevos.
Cilantro.
Sal al gusto.

Procedimiento:

Paso 1.

Ablandamos las papas, pelamos, cortamos en trozos medianos y reservamos.

Paso 2.

Separamos el tallo de la hoja de acelga y cortamos finalmente. Tomamos el tallo y lo cocemos en agua durante 5 minutos aproximadamente.

Paso 3.

Pasado los 5 minutos, agregamos la hoja de acelga, dejamos hervir durante 2 minutos y luego colamos. Reservamos.

Cortamos la cebolla en trozos pequeños y sofreímos en aceite e iremos agregando poco a poco los ingredientes, primero los dos huevos, luego las papas, la acelga, el cilantro y finalmente la sal al gusto.

Y listo, tenemos un sabroso desayuno, que al tener huevos contribuye a ganar masa muscular, mientras el cilantro y la cebolla desintoxican y desinflaman, además de la energía que aporta la papa al ser un carbohidrato de absorción lenta.

De igual forma, el Dr. le recomendó agregar a su dieta la acelga por su contenido en vitamina K, Hierro y Magnesio.
