  • Good evening, Hivefood friends! I hope you're all doing great! This time, I'll explain how to prepare some delicious "stuffed buns with ground beef."
    This recipe is a little involved, but easy to make... you'll enjoy a spectacular flavor, and I'm sure it will become one of your favorite dishes! Let's put on our aprons and get cooking!

    Esta receta es un poco laboriosa, pero fácil de preparar… disfrutarán de un sabor espectacular, estoy segura que se convertirá en uno de sus platos predilectos!

  • INGREDIENTS: corn flour, ground beef, ripe tomatoes, onion, garlic cloves, pepper, oregano powder, cumin, fried tomato, fresh coriander and salt.
  • INGREDIENTES: harina de maíz, carne molida, tomates maduros, cebolla, dientes de ajo, pimienta, orégano en polvo, comino, tomate frito, cilantro fresco y sal.

PREPARATION/PREPARACIÓN

  • We start by preparing our ground meat, this will be the base to enjoy a VERY tasty and appetizing flavor... We sauté the onions together with the garlic cloves (we season with salt and pepper).
  • Empezamos preparando nuestra carne molida, esta será la base para disfrutar de un sabor MUY sabroso y apetitoso... Sofreímos las cebollas junto con los dientes de ajo (salpimentamos).

  • Next, add the ground beef and sauté over medium heat until cooked through. Season with black pepper, dried oregano, cumin, and salt.
    Add the diced tomatoes and cook until they soften slightly.
  • A continuación, colocamos la carne molida... salteamos a fuego "medio" hasta comprobar que está lista. Aliñamos con: pimienta negra, orégano en polvo, comino y sal.
    Incorporamos los tomates, cortamos en cubos "pequeños", cocinamos hasta que su textura se suavice un poco.

  • We add the fresh coriander (leaves and stems)... This ingredient will provide a "unique and special" flavor.
  • Añadimos el cilantro fresco (hojas y tallos)... Este ingrediente aportará un sabor "único y especial".

  • Our ground beef turned out so delicious... we set it aside to use in the final step.
  • Así de exquisita nos quedó nuestra carne molida... reservamos para utilizar en el paso final.

  • To make the dough, I used 1 cup of cornmeal and 1 cup of water, added 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and kneaded until I achieved a smooth and manageable consistency.
    I formed a ball, cut a small opening in it to fill with the reserved ground meat. I closed it by pinching the edges together and shaped it into a small bun.
  • Para realizar la masa utilicé 1 taza de harina de maíz y 1 taza de agua, añadí 1/2 cucharadita de sal, amasé hasta conseguir una consistencia suave y manejable.
    Armamos una esfera, abrimos una pequeña circunferencia para así proceder a rellenar con la carne molida que teníamos reservada. Cerramos uniendo los bordes y damos forma de bollito.

  • Add enough water to a deep pot, and when it comes to a boil, add the buns. Cook over high heat; you'll know they're ready when they rise to the surface. The cooking process will take approximately 12 minutes.
  • Integramos suficiente agua a una olla honda, cuando rompa el hervor agregamos los bollitos... Cocinamos a fuego "alto", sabrán que están listos cuando observen que suben a la superficie. El proceso de cocción tardará aproximadamente 12 minutos.

  • We place a portion of "fried tomato" at the bottom of a deep plate, add our succulent buns... decorate with: fried tomato and fresh cilantro.
  • Colocamos en el fondo de un plato hondo una porción de "tomate frito", agregamos nuestros suculentos bollitos... decoramos con: tomate frito y con cilantro fresco.
