Delicious lunch, smoked lentil soup
Grains will always be a great source of vitamins, which is why I decided to make lentils. My children don't like this grain very much, but I really want them to eat it for its health benefits. Plus, it's quick to prepare, and since these lentils were soft, I started cooking them at 10 in the morning and had them ready for lunch by noon.
Siempre los granos serán una gran fuente de vitaminas, es por ello que decidí preparar lentejas. Este grano no les gusta mucho a mis hijos, pero me gusta mucho que lo consuman para su beneficio, además que su preparación es rápida y como estás lentejas eran blanditas, las monte a las 10 de la mañana y ya al medio día las tenía lista para el almuerzo.
Para realizar está receta use los siguientes ingredientes: 250 gramos de lentejas, 1 cebolla, 8 dientes de ajo, 56 ajíes, 230 gramos de hueso ahumado y 3 papas pequeñas.
The first thing to do is to soften the lentils. Use a pot with a tight-fitting lid so that they cook faster. I also added 230 grams of smoked bone so that it would soften at the same time as the lentils.
Lo primero es colocar las lentejas a qué se ablanden. Utilice una olla que tapa herméticamente, para así estuviesen más rápido.Tambien agregué los 230 gramos de hueso ahumado para que se fuesen ablandando al mismo tiempo que las lentejas.
Then take the seasonings and chop them finely. Cut the potato into small pieces and, once the lentils are soft, add the potato.
Después tome los aliños y los corte finamente. La papa la corte en pequeños trozos y luego de ver qué las lentejas estaban blanditas coloque la papa.
Place the other seasonings, onion, chilli pepper and garlic in a frying pan with red onion oil and fry gently, then add to the lentil soup.
Los demás aliños, cebolla, ají y ajo; coloque en sartén con aceite onotado y lleve a sofreír para luego incorporar a la sopa de lentejas.
Once they were ready and the broth had thickened, I served them with white rice. It was a simple but nutritious lunch.
Después que estuvieron listas y ya había espesado el caldo; acompañe con arroz blanco. Fue un almuerzo sencillo pero nutritivo.
