Yo me defino como una persona despreocupada que puede almorzar cualquier cosa, siempre que sea deliciosa. Hay quienes se limitan a almorzar en ocasiones un platillo en específico porque no consideran que sea algo apropiado para el almuerzo, y luego están las personas como yo que pueden almorzar inclusive una arepa al mediodía y ser feliz con ello. ☺️❤️

Cuando voy a trabajar por lo general llevo mi almuerzo, pero, hay días donde me toca comer en la calle así que aprovecho de ubicar aquellos lugares que en algún momento llamaron mi atención así que uso mi oportunidad para comer allí y evaluar que tan buena es la comida, así que ésta semana fue el turno de probar unos shawarmas que hace rato quería comer.

Aproximadamente a tres cuadras de mi trabajo se encuentra un local llamado "el point del shawarma" dónde aparentemente venden comida árabe Pero destacan principalmente por sus shawarmas y su famosa promoción de shawarma mixto por 5$ así que luego de tanto pasar por allí y ver el letrero, por fin pude probarlos.

I define myself as a carefree person who can eat anything for lunch, as long as it is delicious. There are those who limit themselves to sometimes having a specific dish for lunch because they don't consider it appropriate for lunch, and then there are people like me who can even have an arepa for lunch at noon and be happy with it. ☺️❤️

When I go to work I usually bring my lunch, but, there are days when I have to eat on the street so I take the opportunity to locate those places that at some point called my attention so I use my chance to eat there and evaluate how good the food is, so this week it was my turn to try some shawarmas that I have been wanting to eat for a while.

Approximately three blocks from my work there is a place called “el point del shawarma” where apparently they sell Arabian food but they stand out mainly for their shawarmas and their famous promotion of mixed shawarma for 5$ so after passing by there and seeing the sign, I finally got to try them.

Debo decir que la atención fue muy buena, los meseros son atentos y el lugar es muy pulcro lo cual yo aprecio demasiado pues, no me gusta comer en lugares desaseados. Cómo les dije me decidí por probar la famosa promoción, y el tiempo de espera fue muy corto, aproximadamente 5 minutos y ya teníamos la mesa servida con distintas salsas, donde mi favorita fue la salsa de ajo y la crema de pimentón, Pero si del shawarma habíamos pues.... No fue para nada lo que yo esperaba.

En primer lugar se sentía demasiado seco, la proteína no tenía tanto sabor como esperaba ya que se sentía muy seco, así que considero que es más difícil percibir los sabores, otra cosa que no me gustó es que los vegetales estaban cortados de una forma muy brusca, yo soy fan de la cebolla, Pero los bastones de cebolla cortados eran extremadamente grandes, tanto así que se terminaban saliendo, lo cual para mí no fue agradable.

Lo que podemos salvar de todo esto es el sabor de las salsas que te ofrecen, estaban muy ricas todas en general, aunque yo no como picante, el picante si tenía buena pinta y la crema de ajonjolí también estaba rica, así que gracias a ellas pude darle un poco de jugosidad al shawarma pero aún así, no dejo de sentirse seco. Mi puntuación es de 4/10 para este platillo, y no creo volver a comer nuevamente allí o al menos no shawarmas específicamente. ¿Y ustedes Tienen una lugar favorito para comer Shawarmas? 🥰 ¡Házmelo saber en los comentarios! I must say that the service was very good, the waiters are attentive and the place is very neat, which I appreciate very much because I don't like to eat in sloppy places. As I told you I decided to try the famous promotion, and the waiting time was very short, about 5 minutes and we already had the table served with different sauces, where my favorite was the garlic sauce and paprika cream, But if the shawarma we had .... It was not at all what I expected.

First of all it felt too dry, the protein did not have as much flavor as I expected since it felt very dry, so I consider that it is more difficult to perceive the flavors, another thing I did not like is that the vegetables were cut in a very rough way, I am a fan of onion, But the cut onion sticks were extremely large, so much so that they ended up coming out, which for me was not pleasant.

What we can save from all this is the taste of the sauces they offer you, they were all very tasty in general, although I don't eat spicy, the spicy one did look good and the sesame cream was also tasty, so thanks to them I could give a little juiciness to the shawarma but even so, it still felt dry. My score is 4/10 for this dish, and I don't think I will ever eat there again or at least not shawarmas specifically.
