Lahori white chickpeas with chicken

Hello hi everyone how are you greetings to all of you and welcome to my another recipe blog. I hope you guys all are well and enjoying delicious food. Today many guests has come to our house so I cooked breakfast for them. I cooked Special Lahori white chickpeas with chicken. It's special breakfast for us on every occasion. I served it with naan 🫓. I want to share my recipe with all of you so let's start the process.

Ingredients

One kg white chickpeas

One kg chicken

Onions

Tomatoes

Ginger garlic paste

Green chillies

Spices

Salt

Red chilli

Turmeric

Chilli flakes

Dry coriander

Garam masala

Black pepper

Cumin seeds

Process

First I boiled white chickpeas then put them aside after boiling. At the other side I washed chicken and cut whole ingredients. I fried onions in the oil till the colour change.


After this I added chicken ginger garlic paste tomato slices green chillies and again stir fried well. Then I added whole spices and again fried two minutes.

Later on I added boiled white chickpeas in the chicken gravy and also added gravy of chickpeas in the chicken for cooking again.


I cooked until gravy changes into thick foam and oil separated. Then I spread green fresh coriander at the last.

This recipe is similar to our country’s chotpoti. Using tamarind sourness makes it even more delicious. Egg and cucumber are commonly used in our version.
