Hello my dear friends,
Welcome to my new cooking blog. Today I’m going to share with you the afternoon snack I made. It’s a dish that everyone—from kids to adults—will love. It’s very easy to make and soft and fluffy, which makes it one of my favorite snacks.

Today I prepared a sweet egg pitha made with eggs and flour. Whenever I crave something sweet, I usually have eggs, flour, and sugar at home—just like most of you. You can easily make it this way too. If you have kids at home, they will surely enjoy this pitha a lot.
Ingredients:
Egg
Sugar
Water
Oil
Flour
A pinch of salt
Preparation Method:
First, I took one egg in a bowl. With just one egg, you can make several pieces of pitha. I made enough for two people. If you want to make more, you can use two to three eggs.

Then I added a small amount of water (this step is optional). After that, I added sugar according to taste. However sweet you prefer, you can adjust the amount of sugar. I also added a pinch of salt because adding a little salt to sweet snacks or desserts enhances the flavor. Be careful not to add too much.

Next, I mixed the egg, sugar, and water well using a mixer until the sugar completely dissolved. The better you mix it, the softer and tastier the pitha will be. Then I gradually added flour.

Do not add too much flour—the batter consistency should be similar to that of Tal Pitha (thick but pourable). If you add too much flour, the pitha will become hard and won’t taste as good.

There’s no need to rest the batter. I heated a good amount of oil in a pan since I deep-fried them. There is no reason to be worried about using oil here. Even though I added enough oil for deep frying, it doesn’t mean all of it will be absorbed.

You can reuse the remaining oil for cooking other dishes. This pitha does not require a large amount of oil, and it won’t soak up too much oil while frying.Fry on low heat so that the inside cooks properly while the outside turns a light golden brown. Once the oil is hot, pour small portions of the batter into the oil. Fry them well until golden brown.

And that’s it—our delicious, soft, and fluffy sweet egg pitha is ready!
