El sushi siempre fue una de esas comidas que siempre quise probar y por muchos años fue algo de lo que me perdí, y lo digo de esta manera porque después de haberlo probado la primera vez me di cuenta de lo mucho que me gustaba y ahora siempre que tengo la oportunidad de ir a comer sushi no la desperdicio y de hecho es siempre mi primera opción cuando queremos salir a comer fuera de casa.

Sushi was always one of those foods I wanted to try, and for many years it was something I missed out on. I say this because after trying it for the first time, I realized how much I loved it, and now whenever I have the chance to eat sushi, I don't miss it. In fact, it's always my first choice when we want to eat out.

Mi primera vez comiendo sushi fue aquí en Brasil, en un restaurante llamado Ohana Sushi Bar y desde entonces ese ha sido siempre el lugar que frecuentamos para comer sushi, pues, su comida es muy buena y deliciosa y sus precios son accesibles, pero lo que más me gusta es que de vez en cuando hacen algo llamado Festival de Sushi donde hacen promociones rebajando sus precios mientras ofrecen la misma calidad y cantidad.

My first time eating sushi was here in Brazil, at a restaurant called Ohana Sushi Bar, and since then, that's always been our go-to place for sushi. Their food is very good and delicious, and their prices are reasonable. But what I like most is that every now and then they have something called a Sushi Festival, where they offer promotions with lower prices while maintaining the same quality and quantity.

Hace un par de meses fue uno de esos festivales de sushi en Ohana y obviamente no nos lo queríamos perder, así que fuimos pero esta vez en compañía de unos compañeros de trabajo a quienes también les gusta el sushi. Algo de estos festivales es que el lugar se llena aún más de lo normal, por lo que hay que llegar apenas abran sus puertas para no quedarnos sin mesa. Ese día llegamos Dani y yo primero, escogimos una mesa y mientras esperábamos a los demás pedimos unas bebidas para empezar.

A couple of months ago, there was one of those sushi festivals at Ohana, and obviously we didn't want to miss it, so we went, but this time with some coworkers who also love sushi. One thing about these festivals is that the place gets even more crowded than usual, so you have to arrive as soon as they open to avoid getting a table. That day, Dani and I arrived first, chose a table, and while we waited for the others, we ordered some drinks to start.

Luego nos dirigimos al área del buffet para armar nuestro plato y lo malo de ir a un lugar de estos es que la variedad es tanta que es difícil poder escoger. Lo bueno fue que en esa ocasión la gente comenzó a llegar un poco más tarde, así que no tuvimos que hacer filas ni nada para poder servirnos.

Then we headed to the buffet area to put together our plates, and the downside of going to a place like this is that there's so much variety it's hard to choose. The good thing was that people started arriving a little later that time, so we didn't have to wait in line or anything to get our food.

En mi caso creo que ya he probado todo lo de este buffet porque siempre que voy intento probar rolls que no había probado antes, así que solo elegí varios de estos al azar e incluí algunas papas fritas para acompañar, pues, si bien no combinan del todo con el sushi a mi me gustan mucho.

In my case, I think I've already tried everything at this buffet because every time I go I try to try rolls I haven't tried before, so I just chose several of these at random and included some fries on the side, because, although they don't perfectly match sushi, I like them a lot.

Ademas de las papas fritas un adicional que no me puede faltar cuando como sushi es la salsa de soja y la salsa tarê, que esta última desde que la probé la primera vez no solo me encantó sino que combina perfectamente con todos los rolls.

Besides fries, another thing I can't do without when I eat sushi is soy sauce and tare sauce. I not only loved the latter the first time I tried it, but it also goes perfectly with all the rolls.

Como siempre la comida estuvo muy buena y deliciosa, todos quedamos más que satisfechos y luego de un par de fotos de ese momento compartiendo nos fuimos todos a nuestras casas y por lo menos yo lo hice feliz después de esa cena donde degusté una de mis comidas favoritas en mi lugar favorito.

As always, the food was very good and delicious; we were all more than satisfied. After taking a couple of photos of that moment together, we all went home, and at least I did so happy after that dinner where I enjoyed one of my favorite meals in my favorite place.
