The most delicious Mexican restaurant I've tried so far, and even though it wasn't in Mexico, it was absolutely delicious. Plus, the place caught my eye, and I think visually speaking, that was the main reason I decided to go inside.
It turns out I was walking through downtown Bogotá, specifically in the Candelaria neighborhood very close to the Chorro de Quevedo, and that’s where I passed by a place that had beautiful traditional artwork on the facade. When I peeked inside, it looked like a small place, but it also had artwork that caught my attention even more, and the music also made me feel like I had to go in there to eat. The man was very friendly too, so I decided to go in.
From the moment I walked into the restaurant, it was a total experience—lots of art, and I really love that kind of thing: paintings and art everywhere. So just seeing something I really like puts me at ease. The menu was quite varied; I even saw some things I’d heard of but never tried. I didn’t have the stomach to try many things, so I went with what I thought I’d really like and had never actually tried before. People had recommended that the birria is delicious, but I’d never actually tried it.
I ordered a birria burrito, which came with a broth that had a hint of spice you were supposed to dip the burrito in it. It was absolutely delicious! Plus, there were a few other sauces I could choose from to go with my meal, including some spicy ones ranging from mild to fiery hot. There was guacamole, and other typical Mexican sauces. My favorite was a sauce with peanuts and sesame seeds—it added a unique twist to everything.
So delicious! I loved the experience from the moment I walked in until I left. The staff was very friendly and helpful; even when I was taking photos there, they made sure I wore Mexican hats and some of the decorative accessories they had on display. All in all, it was a really nice experience the place was very pleasant, and I would definitely go back.

El restaurante Mexicano mas delicioso que he probado hasta ahora, y aunque no fue en Mexico estuvo demasiado delicioso, además el lugar me llamo la atención y creo que visualmente hablando esa fue la razón principal por la que decidí entrar a este restaurante.
Resulta que estaba caminando por el centro de la ciudad de Bogota, específicamente en la zona de la candelaria muy cerca del Chorro de Quevedo, y fue ahi donde pase por un lugar que tenia un gran arte ancestral en la fachada, hasta que mire un poco hacia adentro y parecía un lugar pequeño, pero tambien tenia un arte que llamo aun mas mi atención, y la música tambien hizo que yo sintiera que yo debí entrar a ese lugar a comer, el señor fue muy amable tambien así que decidí entrar.
Desde que entre al restaurante fue una experiencia total, mucho arte y a mi me gusta mucho ese tipo de cosas, full pintura y arte, entonces ya me da comodidad el hecho de ver algo que me gusta mucho, el menu estuvo bastante variado, incluso vi algunas cosas que he escuchado pero no he probado, no tenia la capacidad física de probar muchas cosas así que me fui con lo que creía que me iba a gustar demasiado y realmente no había probado nunca, por recomendación me habían dicho que la birria es muy deliciosa pero yo realmente nunca lo había probado.
Mi menu fue un burrito de birria, que venia acompañado con un caldo que tenia un toque picante y era para remojar el burrito ahi, que cosa mas deliciosa, aparte que habían algunas otras salsas adicionales que podia escoger para acompañar mi comida, entre las cuales habían algunas picantes que iban desde la menos picante hasta la mas picosa, había wacamole, y otras salsa típicas de Mexico, en la que mi favorita fue una salsa que tenia maní y ajonjolí, le daba un toque diferente a todo.
Com delicioso, me encanto la experiencia desde que entre hasta que me fui, la gente fue bastante amable y muy servicial, incluso cuando yo me estaba tomando fotos en el lugar, ellos se preocupaban por que yo usara sombreros Mexicanos, y algunos accesorios que ellos tenían de adorno, en fin una experiencia bastante bonita, el lugar muy agradable y definitivamente volvería a ir.
