[ESP] | [eng] - MOMENTO FOODIE #44: La recomendación en St.Honoré

Durante mi última caminata por la ciudad descubrí la Pastelería St Honoré que, cabe destacar, la califico como bastante aesthetic. La paleta de colores del local hace que no pierda la elegancia e incluso te llegas a preguntar ¿cómo es que una pastelería tan aesthetic se encuentra dentro de un supermercado? Porque sí, esta es otra de esas franquicias de cafeterías/pastelerías que alegran tu experiencia al realizar las compras del mercado.

Mientras me encontraba sentada esperando a que mi amiga llegara, me tomé la tarea de observar a mi alrededor. Una costumbre extraña que tengo cuando voy a cualquier local de comida es detallar lo que consumen otros comensales para hacerme una idea de las proporciones y de qué tan bien luce... sí, soy una persona bastante visual. Lo cierto es que mientras me encontraba sentada esperando un señor de unos 60 entre 70 años que se encontraba justo en la mesa de enfrente me saludó con amabilidad. Creo que notó que me encontraba un poco ansiosa y aburrida por tener que esperar, así que para distraerme un rato desde lejos me hizo una seña graciosa para referirse a que el postre que estaba comiendo estaba delicioso.

Me dijo que se trataba de un Mousse de Chocolate y que era simplemente uno de sus favoritos. De hecho, me sugirió acompañar mi café con ese postre, porque de verdad no me iba a defraudar. Así que cuando Made llegó y me preguntó lo que iba a querer yo sólo seguí la recomendación de mi amigo sextagenario y la verdad es que no me decepcioné. El sabor a cacao era lo suficientemente fuerte como para despertarte por completo, además, no se encontraba demasiado dulce. En la vitrina de postres visualicé algunas otras opciones interesantes que muy posiblemente iré a probar otro día...porque simplemente ya tú sabes cómo soy, cuando me obsesiono con un lugar termino prácticamente probando el 80% de su menú.

During my last walk through the city I discovered the St Honoré patisserie which, it is worth mentioning, I rate it as quite aesthetic. The color palette of the place does not lose the elegance and you even get to wonder how is it that such an aesthetic pastry shop is located inside a supermarket? Because yes, this is another one of those coffee/pastry shop franchises that brighten up your grocery shopping experience.

As I sat there waiting for my friend to arrive, I took it upon myself to look around. A strange habit I have when I go to any food place is to detail what other diners are eating to get an idea of the proportions and how good it looks... yes, I am quite a visual person. The truth is that while I was sitting there waiting, a man in his 60's or 70's at the table in front of me greeted me kindly. I think he noticed that I was a bit anxious and bored with waiting, so to distract me for a while from a distance he made a funny sign to me to refer to the fact that the dessert I was eating was delicious.

He told me that it was a Chocolate Mousse and that it was simply one of his favorites. In fact, he suggested accompanying my coffee with that dessert, because he really wasn't going to let me down. So when Made arrived and asked me what I was going to have I just followed my sextagenarian friend's recommendation and I was not disappointed. The cocoa flavor was strong enough to wake you up completely, plus it wasn't overly sweet. In the dessert case I saw some other interesting options that I will most likely try another day...because you just know how I am, when I get obsessed with a place I end up practically trying 80% of their menu.
